Authorised taxis
Buy a ticket at an official taxi booth inside arrivals. Prices are set by zone, for example about 300–350 MXN to Roma or Condesa. Then go to the rank. Never accept rides from touts.
Metrobus Line 4
Buy an Integrated Mobility (MI) card at the machines, then load it. The airport service has a special fare and is comfortable for light luggage.
Tips
- Avoid arriving at rush hour (about 7–10am and 6–9pm) if you’re taking a car.
- Get a Mexico eSIM for maps and ride apps.
- Pre-book a private transfer for late arrivals.
- Choose your base from where to stay in Mexico City.
Going back to the airport
Allow at least 1.5–2 hours from Roma or Polanco at peak times. Check whether your airline uses Terminal 1 or 2. Some domestic flights use AIFA (Felipe Ángeles Airport), which is much further north.
