The Sagrada Família is Spain’s most visited monument, and 2026 is a historic year: the final piece of the central Tower of Jesus Christ was put in place on 20 February 2026, making it the tallest church in the world at 172.5 metres, and the tower was blessed on 10 June, the centenary of Gaudí’s death. This guide explains ticket types, prices, how to book and how to choose a tower. Prices are 2026 figures from this ticket guide (updated August 2026); confirm on the official Sagrada Família website before booking.

Which ticket should you buy?

  • Most visitors: the €26 basic ticket. The audio guide is excellent and the interior — a forest of columns lit by stained glass — is the highlight.
  • Want the view? Add a tower (€36). You go up by lift and come down by narrow spiral stairs; not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility or heart problems.
  • Love details? A guided tour explains the symbolism of the façades. Compare Sagrada Família tours.

The new central Tower of Jesus Christ isn’t open to visitors yet; its viewing area is expected later.
