Do you need an Express Pass?

On weekdays outside school holidays, most visitors manage the main rides without one by arriving early and using the official app’s live wait times. On weekends, public holidays and school holidays (June and November–December), an Express Pass can save hours.

Best rides and zones

  • Sci-Fi City: the Battlestar Galactica duelling coasters and Transformers: The Ride.
  • Ancient Egypt: Revenge of the Mummy, an indoor dark coaster.
  • Minion Land: family rides, and it’s very popular, so go early.
  • The Lost World: Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure (you’ll get soaked).
  • Far Far Away: the Shrek castle and family rides.

Getting there

  • MRT to HarbourFront (North East or Circle Line), then walk to VivoCity level 3 for the Sentosa Express monorail to Resorts World station (S$4 entry).
  • A taxi or Grab from the city costs about S$15–25.
  • You can also walk the Sentosa Boardwalk from VivoCity in about 15 minutes.

Tips

  • Arrive around 30 minutes before opening and do the big rides first.
  • The park is cashless, so bring a card without foreign transaction fees.
  • Pack a poncho for the water rides and sudden tropical showers.
  • Combine your visit with the beaches or the SEA Aquarium the next day, as in our Singapore itinerary.
