Flower Dome vs Cloud Forest
- Cloud Forest: a 35-metre indoor mountain with one of the world’s tallest indoor waterfalls and an elevated walkway. It’s cool and misty, and it’s the more dramatic of the two.
- Flower Dome: the world’s largest glass greenhouse, with Mediterranean and desert gardens, ancient olive trees and rotating flower displays.
- The combo ticket covers both, so allow 1.5–2 hours in total.
Opening hours
- The domes, OCBC Skyway and Supertree Observatory are open from 9am to 9pm, with last entry around 8–8:30pm.
- The outdoor gardens are open from 5am to 2am.
- Domes occasionally close for maintenance, so check the “Opening Hours & Closures” page on the official site.
The Garden Rhapsody light show
The Supertrees light up in sync with music for about 15 minutes every evening at 7:45pm and 8:45pm. It’s free. Lie on the ground under the Supertree Grove for the best view, and arrive 10–15 minutes early. The Skyway closes during the shows.
Tips
- The best plan is the domes at 4–5pm, then the Supertrees at dusk and the 7:45pm show, then a walk to Marina Bay Sands for Spectra.
- Get there by MRT to Bayfront (exit B) and follow the underpass.
- Buy tickets online to skip the counter queues. Compare Gardens by the Bay tickets and combos.
- Bring a light layer, because the Cloud Forest is cool after the heat outside.
