Official taxis and remises
After customs, you’ll find official counters for “Taxi Ezeiza” and several remis (private car) companies. You pay a fixed fare for your destination at the counter, by card or cash. Ask whether highway tolls are included. Ignore people offering rides in the arrivals hall.
Uber and other apps
Uber, Cabify and DiDi operate at Ezeiza; meet your driver at the signposted pick-up points outside arrivals. You’ll need mobile data, so set up an eSIM before you fly.
Tienda León shuttle
Comfortable coaches run to its terminal in Puerto Madero, with an optional transfer to your hotel. Good value if you’re travelling alone with a big bag.
Bus 8
The public bus 8 runs from Terminal C to the city, ending near Plaza de Mayo. Pay with a SUBE card or contactless card. It’s very cheap but slow, crowded at rush hour and not ideal with large luggage.
Aeroparque (AEP)
Domestic and some regional flights use Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, right on the river near Palermo, only 10–20 minutes from most hotels by taxi or Uber.
Tips
- Avoid arriving at rush hour if you can; traffic on the highway is heavy.
- Pay by credit card where possible for a good exchange rate. See money in Argentina.
